There’s more than one way to tell a story, and more than one way to relay that story to the world. In a culture where millions of people turn daily to the digital realm for news and entertainment, content creators must be able to adapt content for a variety of mediums.
In the Audio Production/Filming program, young aspiring kids and teens who will someday become tomorrow’s future producers and engineers can gain tailored, focused, hands-on knowledge and experience learning the fundamentals of music, audio, and filming
Program Objectives:
⦁ Provide an overview of the audio production industry
⦁ Learning will progress towards setting up workstations, sequencing, and recording
⦁ In addition, kids and teens will gain practical experience using professional software tools to set up a home/studio environment once they complete the program.
⦁ Kids and teens will learn to how create dynamic content by mirroring/reproducing the workflow of a studio.
⦁ Filming curriculum will be designed to include script development, production planning, filming, editing, and distribution of completed content/product.
⦁ Teach the basics and some advanced classes in, videography, photography and music production.
⦁ Learn the skills that are needed to be in front of the camera or microphone and behind the scenes.
⦁ Kids and teens will work with editing film, Photoshop, green screens, stop motion animation, voice over acting, film soundtracks, blogging and more.
⦁ YouTube and Social media will be our way to keep track of the students’ progress, and for weekly KU updates.
